Once an Approval Workflow is created within Capture Expense, you can assign it to a User Account. You can also assign one or more Approval Workflows in bulk to many users.
To add a workflow to a single user
- Navigate to the People page.
Go to Setup> Overview> User Accounts or Setup> People - Click the the + Person button. The User Account page appears.
- Fill in the information.
- Select the appropriate Line Manager from the drop-down list, if applicable.
- Select an Approval Workflow from the drop-down list.
- Continue filling in the rest of the information.
- Click the Save button. The Workflow has been assigned to the user.
To assign a workflow in bulk to many users
Once you have exported the User Accounts template with data, you can update the Approval Record Name column in an existing row with the applicable Approval Workflow, or create an a new row and include the Workflow data. You can then re-import the template back into Capture Expense and the Workflows will be assigned.

Or you can export the Template without data and enter new users from scratch including the Approval Workflows and then re-import it into Capture Expense.
