Can approval email alerts be set monthly?

Capture Expense provides real-time approval functionality for Expenses, and notifications can be sent to Approvers when there are new Expenses awaiting approval. If an Approver wishes to turn off these notifications, they can do so by accessing the user's account settings or their own preferences. 

To Switch off All Notifications for:

A Specific User

1. Navigate to the Setup Cog:

   • Find and click on the Setup cog icon, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

2. Accessing the People View:

   • From the emerging dropdown menu, choose "People" to enter the People view.

3. Selecting a User:

   • Identify the user for whom you want to modify notification settings.
   • Click on the round checkbox adjacent to the user's name to select them.

4. Editing User Account Settings:

   • In the sidebar on the right, click "Edit" to open the User Account view.

5. Disabling Notifications:

   • Locate and select the checkbox labeled "Switch off all notifications."
   • Click "Save" to apply the changes and disable notifications for the chosen user.

Your own account  

Alternatively, Approvers can set the notifications for themselves. 

1. Navigate to the Setup Cog:

   • Find and click on the Setup cog icon, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

2. Accessing the People View:

   • From the emerging dropdown menu, choose "People" to enter the People view.

3. Selecting Your Account

   • Locate your account. 
   • Click on the round checkbox adjacent to it.

4. Editing Your Account Settings:

   • In the sidebar on the right, click "Edit" to open the User Account view.

5. Disabling Notifications:

   • Locate and select the checkbox labeled "Switch off all notifications."
   • Click "Save" to apply the changes and disable notifications for your account.
