Within Capture Expense, you can use Tags to create your company's cost code structure. You can group users and categories to apply different policies and rules. e.g. You can group users into individual teams, departments, locations or companies etc. This is useful so that Finance can analyse the costs and expenses according to your company's accounting requirements.
You can create a new Tag if you need to apply additional cost code structures.
To add a new tag
1. Create the tag record.

Navigate to the Tag page.
Go to Setup> Overview> Tags & Costcentres or Setup> Tags -
Click the +Tag button. The new Tag page appears.

Ensure Active is selected.

Enter the Name.

Select the Allow edit by expense option

Select the Compulsory option.

Click the Save button. The record is created and you are returned to the Tags page.
2. Add a Value.

Click + Value in the record. The Tag Value form appears.
- Ensure Active is selected.
- Enter the Code.
- Enter the Analysis Segment, if necessary.
- Enter the Name of the value.
- Click the Save button. The record is created.

Continue to add as many Values as necessary.
- Click Save to return to the Tags page. Notice that the Development tag now displays the number of records created.
- Continue to add as many Tags as required.
